Best objectively? Can't say, they have different use cases. Best for beginners? Python, in my opinion

if you are beginner then you should learn java first..because python is completely different..if you want to succeed in python you should have to have some basic programming language background or concept like java or c..So java is best for beginners.

Both have their strengths and faults. Learn Java because it's everywhere. Learn Python because it gives you personality (and its the easier one to start out with). That being said... There are already similar (if not identical) questions posted. You can find the answers using the search bar. (Trust me, there are a lot. This Java vs Python debate never seems to die.) Please help keep the quality of posts high in this section of the forum, SoloLearn servers uncluttered, and app latency low by reviewing the following: https://www.sololearn.com/Blog/38/8-simple-rules-to-get-help-from-the-community/ Be sure not to miss the link to the Community Guidelines toward the bottom of the article. Happy coding! P.S. Please see the following post for a humorous interpretation (but still an earnest plea). https://www.sololearn.com/post/10362/?ref=app
