<p align="center">Paragraph text</p> is it valid...?

In HTML5 the ALIGN attribute is not supported as we learn. But in quiz the align attribute is used and says it is valid. Can someone tell me the reason....

It depends on what standard you are validating against/for. It's not valid HTML5, but it's valid HTML.

I wanna say, is it valid to use align attribute in <p> tag where we learn align teg is not support in HTML5.
