Best language to learn first

I know a little bit from all languages, but what is the best language to excel in first that will help in learning the other languages better?

Depends on what kind of content you're aiming to make - you tend to use the right tool for the job. After HTML (not a programming language, but a gentle entry point nonetheless) you can flow into JavaScript which will help teach you more of the general principles present in most languages and frameworks you'll find. Once you get a grasp of that you can be more comfortable branching off into other directions. You'll probably want to familiarise yourself with either C++ or C# at some point though. From there, depending on how serious you are, you could take a look at the trends for what languages are in demand. Alternatively experiment until you find something that sticks - but still venture out and dabble in what's new ~ have fun.
