Yes you need mathematics knowledge.if you are doing frontend little math knowledge is enough but if you are doing back-end like machine learning,AI or creating game codes then high level maths require because many problems solve with maths.you can simply learn math in any age if you want.many people think they can create code logic without any math knowledge but it is not a reality.so also learn math with programming.
