how to start practising/start using html in concrete form?

I installed notepad++ on my pc and learned how to open a .html page and editing a bit.
but no idea what to do how to continue/ advance after that ?

I didnt know what navbar was but It looks good and I will try it.
To be honest Im not exactly sure what I want to do Im also limited with my html knowledge and dont know enough css,java to spice up my alternatives
