Use the read only attribute for the input box. Before the closing '>', type readonly.
E.g
<input type ="text" name="Name" value="this is read-only" readonly>

whats the syntax to do it dynamically..means if i check the checkbox then fields will be editable and if i uncheck it it becomes readonly...
