You are not stupid, learning programming is not too much different from learning a spoken language. You need a lot of practice to get it right, so keep trying. It's not a race :)

what you need to do is to take your time. combine different sources like codecademy.com and w3 schools. And one last thing don't force your self don't rush things and learn with passion
