What is the best book for learning python?

Question

Since the holidays are coming up in a month or two, I figured getting myself a book to learn Python would be a fun gift. I want a book that I can learn from after I finish the Python course here on Solo Learn so I can build on what I learned here.

I'm not really into creating a video game, but really any other type of programming is definitely on the table. I especially like creating programs that work with databases of information, in the background of computers (like to monitor things), and practical programs I can write then run on my raspberry pi (For example I plan on starting one that will utilize my raspberry pi as an alarm clock in the near future).

What are your recommendations?
