Human made up programming languages! we invented it so that we don’t have to tell a machine (step by step) how to do a bunch of instructions again and again whenever we want the machine to do something. In the past, people have to use paper cards with punched holes as “programming language” ... then it comes the era of transistors... then computer memory... Finally, we don’t want to program a machine in “machine language” which are just 0 and 1, we had to invent something else more familiar with human language.... it’s called ‘Programming language’
