Is there any sense of completing OCA 7 in java now ?

Having an Oracle certificate is always a proud and senseful thing.
If you want your career on Java, then go for it. It's a plus point.

You want to do OCA certificate for some extra points on your interview? Instead of learning all these questions I would prefer to do a good project and upload it to git repository.

I think knowledge of tools like maven, git. Spring basics - dependency injection, will be an advantage.
