Can we split a string using more than one character by using the split( ) function ? If so, how?

In Java when we split a string and put it in an array we can specify the delimeter according to which we can split. But can we put more than one delimeter at a time. If so ,what is the format?

I am determined to know what you are talking about ,but as an aspiring programmer is it wise to master one language without knowledge of others ....wise as it is probable or is it at the disadvantage of the student
