if you are talking about the red lines on the right. those spaces are for indentation. it's a coding style. it makes your code easier to read.

Arushi has asked same questions and Calvin told her to use html formatter (a website) to remove the non text contents when she copied some codes from text editors to code editors. If you need, I can try to dig that Q&A out.

it's not a good idea to remove them. because they make the code more readable. and they define where each block starts and where it ends. that being said you can just delete them like any other character. click at the end of every space or tabs and delete. are you editing the code in a text editor?
