Who believes that MS will release Microsoft Linux in less than 10 years?

I have spent the last 2 weeks learning about docker, kubernetes and containers and have been trying to run an existing windows .net service in the linux container using .net core. It worked really well. I didn't expect that MS had made such massive progress in the area of containerization. My opinion is that in less than 10 years MS will create their own version of Linux- Microsoft Linux and containers will be used for deployments pretty much everywhere. What do you think?

Actually, this is kinda irrelevant, according to forum's guide - posts should be SoloLearn related, or programming related. This seems rather more of a sort of opinion based topic, related with business plan (cmiiw). Anyways, some related stuffs from the web: https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-releases-its-first-linux-product/ https://itsfoss.com/microsoft-announces-linux-os/ Unsure about this one, seems to be outdated (mind explicit verbal content) http://mslinux.org/
