Has anybody else received any challenges from the Sololearn user account, i.e. the account used by SL admins for testing?

I received one recently. What does this mean? Are they testing the challenge feature, and is their selection of test subjects completely random?

It challenged me in Java and HTML just after I've finished the first introduction section. I've accepted once, but the challenge was to hard for my level (as could be expected😅).

Yes I received one in the beginning for C# It was a draw 😅 I don't think they are testing challenge features rather they are trying to engage and encourage users to take up the challenge. Anyways its exciting to get challenged by Sololearn 😃

Yes I have, I’m really not sure why. It seems to only activate when you turn all your weapons on, and only once (for me, at least). It doesn’t show in anybody’s Activity Feed, and SoloLearn randomly guesses the answer, like a bot (I’m not sure, it’s only happened to me once). Strange.

Maybe they are trying to help those new to challenges to see how it works. I think that is a good idea because there isn't an explanation of the feature when you first join Sololearn. It seem it does it once for each weapon as it is turned on. It seems to have an interval of time before it challenges again. I turned each on as I was exploring the feature. I found it did it again after a few weeks as I turned on each weapon. It would be nice if the correct answer review in challenges would have links to explanations like those you get before a tutorial quiz.

Yeah I I got three challenges in the past 2 weeks. I like them because it keeps me sharp. These surprise challenges help me recall information that I might normally forget. I think of them as snap test like I'd give to myself. Two thumbs up Sololearn.👍 👍 Bring it! ☺️

Ivan Gismondi I think they're testing, but not looking for employees 😊. It'll take a lot more than winning a few challenges to get hired!

Jared Bird Even I posted the same in feed😅 I think they challenge you when you just start a new course and also when you win many challenges in a day coz it was in my case 😁 Just a wild guess.. don't know exactly 😅

I only have one weapon on (HTML) and I completed the associated course a long time ago. This might help debunk some theories. I had not received any challenges from the SoloLearn account until today. I don't remember if I was poking around the PHP course or drafting a response to a comment in the HTML course at the time. The AI got the first 3 questions wrong -- didn't play like a level 17, that's for sure. I'm happy that everyone seems to be enjoying the experience. 😃

No, I haven't. It might be that they are testing the challenge feature, and their selections might be random

Janning⭐ absolutely. We are still wondering if it's an AI feature or an AS feature (I.e. Artificial Stupidity, I.e the devs are intentionally entering invalid responses to encourage users by giving them wins).

Guess what Paul K Sadler . I disabled my Python weapon 8 days ago and re-enabled it today. I haven't got a challenge yet but the Sololearn account sent me a 'personal' message asking me to follow the 'Data Science' page if I wanted more feeds about Python, Data Science etc.

Sonic lol, your theory is probably correct. I would imagine it would come off as predatory of the SL account ran around squishing beginners in challenges. 😅

I got challenged in Java as well. It's probably a random selection for beginners to get started or for other levels of users to help them remind themselves of some parts of a course they've been taking. All in all, I find their AI quite useful. It got me into the challenges which I'm doing daily now.
