Because it's hard to create beginner friendly flash cards for in-depth, advanced stuff. Similarly, other mobile-centric, education-based apps like Duolingo, Memrise, won't make you a professional straight after you complete the provided syllabus. Going in-depth requires the learner to spend hours of research and practice without losing resolve.

Sololearn tends to stay on the surface of programming while teaching, if you want to understand more about what whats happening under the hood google is your best friend.

The goal of SL is to get people interested in coding. That means it needs to present complex topics in a simpler way. People who are REALLY interested in coding and not just doing it because it is a fad are the ones who self-study on their own and use other resources to supplement the knowledge they gained here in SL.

Creating an app which taught advanced concepts will not be that lucrative as it won't appeal to too many people. The ads would only be seen my a smaller number of people and SL wouldn't make as big a profit as it would by appealing to beginners and intermediates.
