Ads , opponent never turn up after ads!!

Why do my opponent show as waiting after I get an ad?

The challenges here are a bit different to other online quizzes in certain other apps where both challengers simultaneously do quizzes.

You and your opponent don't do the challenges at the same time. If you send someone an invite you'll have to wait for them to accept and answer it (or decline it).

here in my case after accepting challenge, in the middle of the challenge I see ads and after ad I see my opponent status showing as waiting!!
