I've been working with websites since 1997. It is a great career because web technologies have been extended beyond the browser. So you have a lot of opportunities to find a job.

The challenge is to choose which learning path to focus on. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are a given. Once you have that, TypeScript, React, Vue, Angular, Ember... the list goes on and on. How do you know what to choose?

You can take a look at the Stackoverflow 2019 survey to see what devs love and what is popular. Try out a few and see which ones you like.

The pattern I have seen is HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I personally am learning TypeScript and React.
