You are comparing language and framework. PHP is a language, ASP.Net is web framework over .Net; the language be C#. If you want to make (yet another) polling, try compare frameworks ASP.Net (C#) - Laravel (PHP) - NodeJS (JS) to be fair.

P.S. According to guidelines, non questions should go on your feeds post, especially polling like this.

My opinion may be biased, because I'm .net developer, but from what I saw and learned about php I'll stick to C#.NET. it's just more readable for me and has a lot of build in stuff you can use to make your life easier.

When you use .net make sure it's .net core ;)

My opinion is more of php, as it is more database friendly to me dough everyone has his or her own reasons for choosing any of the backend
