HTML code in normal text in any website post ?

Will html code work in a site forum post for example if i want to post a Hyperlink Reference url <a href="https://www.example.com"> custom text </a> will it work if not how to?

Most forums have there own way of adding links. Most of them try to have something similar to html.

So to find out how it works in a given forum you have to look in the forum itself.
