Help anybody who knows kivy and python

I want to know how to make a property in kivy in the scatter or Box layout or even float layout which accepts something else than the already defined properties like I want it to be not fixed just to image or video or text but something like void which accepts anything for example live video capture from the camera

I don't see a reason why would you like to go for the tedious work when some has already done them for you.
Its possible to use these widgets for any kind of stuff like live video capturing or any other. Why to go for reinventing the wheel?

I know what I mean is that I want to put different things in root.function which returns much more complex things than text
