What other apps/sites teach by doing?

I'm looking for a learning experience that teaches you how to code by building something. I'm a very kinetic learner and even though we have a playground it doesn't suffice for my need to understand. Plus it describes some terminology and concepts in a shallow way.

I understand you have to learn some fundamental before you can start coding but I'm looking for other websites and apps that are free that teach you to build from the ground up. That's just how my brain works.

Freecodecamp, Codecademy etc.

Like a complete project from start to finish learning all the fundamentals along the way. If that doesn't exist I have a project I'd like to start. :)
