Database project in c#

Question

Hi everyone can anyone point me in the right direction, i need to make a database program in c# it will be my first time making a project this big..which one should i use for database connection (excel, ms access, php admin) also how can i make my front end design a little bit professional looking? My project is all about editing data, entering data, printing..is there a way to show data aside from data grid view?

Thanks i will check it out tomorrow, i will be using visual studio 2017 its going to be a census type program
