Is using BootStrap a good idea for building websites or should I use pure HTML and CSS to be a better web developer?

If you really determine to train yourself to be a better web developer, Don't Use Bootstrap. Use @media to design responsive layouts you want. If you good in css, you could design any css components you wish, including Bootstrap components. https://code.sololearn.com/Wc9xlP68I822/?ref=app

If you really want to make an awesome, beautiful website using any framework; I'll suggest Materialize CSS. It's better than Bootstrap. But the best practice is to make it yourself.👍 Have a chocolate 🍫.

To be a good web developer, you've got to give bootstrap some distance and learn how bootstrap became bootstrap (i.e. learn CSS3), with that you can develop Your Own "Shoestrap" if you want...Lol😁😁😁

Bootstrap can do well if you want to finish a task really quick. You don't always have to do everything from scratch even when you are a great web developer.

Calviղ Thanks for the best answer! Well! I've been practicing. I know about media queries but when it comes about flexbox and grid-system. I've learnt it through BootStrap. Is it gonna work?
