Your opinion on challenges. Are they useful or not?

Let's discuss if these duels have any purpose for real life everyday coding.

In my opinion the best way to learn is to be focused on learn instead of any virtual thing which I'm seeing in most of here, so if you want to know the view instead of wasting time on challenges you can get much more information by making codes and solving query or difficulty which you are facing.

Although it's just my view as I didn't play challenges if they are good and you learn from doing that then I would say you can do challenges in limit and do solve real world coding problem which can improve your coding skill

DishaAhuja, I think you are right. Solving real problems are much more useful and practical.
Though I see a couple of features challenges give to us:
- quick analysis of other people code
- remembering some code constructions better through repetition
- syntax shortcuts and tricks
