How often do we get job opportunities in big gaming companies like creators of god of war, gta, etc. as a c++ programmer?

Rarely, gaming development is very rough and unforgiving - crunch times, layoffs are becoming very common.

I think most devs work in smaller teams, rise the ranks in indie community and the best of them get picked up by big companies
