Laptop specifications for cyber security student

I'm looking for a new laptop. I was wondering what kind of specs should i be looking for if im a cyber security student which will be doing lots of coding and tools.

Laptop can live , can handle you jobs and task quite well , and of coursely run BSD/ GNU/Linux.

Brother if you are just starting into this and not someone who wants to crack 7 digit passwords ,or do some heavy DDOS .

i5,1Tb,4gb will work with and intel 620 embedded GPU.

But if you are someone who wanna do it in this domain for like 5 years down the line
i5/i7 ,1tb,8/16gb ,Linux (Kali preferred),nvedia 900mx atleast 2 gb
