If you want to get familiar with some JavaScript libraries that would help you achieve that there are some as one that has a course in SoloLearn, jQuery. Other very well known are React.js, Node.js, Angular, Vue.js... For something very basic I would recommend being familiar with jQuery, JSON and AJAX.
