Why Expired AMA is shown in the list, instead we need to show the upcoming only?

Why Expired AMA is shown in the list, instead we need to show the upcoming only? Is there any specific reason to do this. Please explain. Also why not provide the upcoming AMA in the list.

Even after an AMA expires, AMA hosts still respond to questions. Also if any AMA is live it will be the first thing you see in your activity feed when you open the app.

Current AMAs that are not completed often show up in the Coding Challenges section too.
