It depends on the purpose of use.

I think not one and not all but either a couple or few will be handy these days. It all depends on your needs.

If you want to learn for problem solving language then go for any high level language like java , python. Learning any one will be good because after learning one language you can shift to any other easily . After learning a language you should go for the data structures and algorithms.

having knowledge in one language is not enough to solve all problems but the only thing you can do is to find and specify a goal in your programming career and then learn a language or a few languages needed to solve problems in that area.
for example in my case, my first languages were C++ and VB.NET when I was new to programming but after a while I decided to become an android developer so I started to learn Java. I will probably learn Kotlin as well, in the future. it is designed mostly to make android apps. I might also try learning and using Flutter framework(to make cross-platform apps) so I may also learn Dart language which is the language of Flutter
this is my current check-list of languages to learn in years to come
but no one can learn all languages. let alone getting expert at them. you can learn basics of different languages but you can only become expert(hence make real use of that language) in one or few languages
if there was any need to multiple languages and frameworks, having a team can solve this issue

I think learn all language because different different type of problem solve by different different type programming language..
