if you mean to ask what a string is: a type

just like you have int (integers) or float (numbers with decimal) you have string. you could look at string as “normal written text”
you can write letters or numbers or characters. important to know is that if these characters are in a string they don’t have any meaning in the programme. so the string “spam and 1+1=2” are just text. the + doesnt do anything in your programme except being text :)
