How would you describe the future of PHP for the next decade and beyond?

For web development how does the future demand of php look? Would you write a brand new project in it? Would it be a good language for a beginner? Any advices? Thanks

As long as wordpress and many other frameworks are based on php there will be some demand.

I would guess the demand for php will futher decrease in future while still many skilled php coders search for jobs.
