Once you have completed the course, I would advise, at least this is what I did, to go through it again. I found that refreshing my memory was very helpful. Then, you could try to make small scripts, such as a small calculator, and see where that takes you.

I agree with Paul Grasser plus I would say do the Challenges in the Learn Section (I do not mean the ones in Play), such as the Caesar Shift
these are great for practising script
