Absolutely. You will usually start out at a lesser pay rate unless you possess a very considerable skill set but it is the way it is.

Yeah you can but for that you should be an self - learner or you can try some short courses where you will get national certificates and after that reach an consultant which have a lot of good experience in that field and try to learn from them may be you have to pay a fee but 10-20 years experience is more good than a degree you can learn it from that experience guy after that when you get that specific skills that strong try other apps like linkedin MonsterJob for getting Job for that specific field there are lot of options are available but imporatant is we have to see and implement in our Life....

Sure, you can, as I did. However, you must be self-motivated and be eager to learn. I learned programming during projects and solving challenges. Another jump starter is studying code samples of other programmers. There is a lot of code available online to learn from.

You certainly can. But I would put strong emphasis on creating a portfolio. As well as a solid Resume and interview skills. But even with a degree, interview skills, a portfolio, and a solid resume are still probably more important.
