Android scrollable app canvas?

Question

So I need a canvas for animations which means I can’t really use premade widgets I think or even views like the scrollview. Do I really have to make the scroll and scroll bounceback mechanic myself for this? Or am I unaware of something premade that would handle this for me? Would love any info or github repos that might have solutions/canvas versions of widgets. Thanks!
