► Cyber security or information technology security are the techniques of protecting computers, networks, programs and data from unauthorized access or attacks that are aimed for exploitation. These cyberattacks are usually aimed at accessing, changing, or destroying sensitive information; extorting money from users; or interrupting normal business processes.
► Some of common cyber attacks are : Denial-of-service (DoS) and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, Man-in-the-middle attack, Phishing and spear phishing attacks, SQL injection attack, Eavesdropping attack, etc
► Common technology used to protect these entities include next-generation firewalls, DNS filtering, malware protection, antivirus software, and email security solutions.
► Data is a collection of facts and information like transactional data or web data which needs to be known only to the user. So for the protection of data, we need Cyber Security.
