Has anyone had their code 'stolen'?
I'm brand new and practicing by making my own Dark Crystal website. I want to actually make my code public so that I can have constructive criticism, but I fear someone will just take it make my code their own website when I'm all said and done. Has anyone who's further along suffered this experience?

Hi sebare12
Do remember, making code public means sharing your skills with the world. Even if someone steal your code, if it's inside SoloLearn, they have to mention your name inside their code, else they will be informed to make the code private.
Secondly, if it's outside SoloLearn, why you are worrying? They stole your code, not your skills. You can still make better than what you made yet.
Let people use your code, but don't settle with your first step. Keep going! 👍

If your project is ready for publishing then host it for public before you share the code here. When the thief claims the ownership more people would have already know it was yours originally, because they have visited your published website (original code).
By then the thief's claim will be a laughing stock : )
