Better decide Game Engines not Programming language.

What if you learn a language but then the game engine you want to work with doesn't allow that language?

According to me best game engines are:-
3D: Unreal Game Engine: Uses C++
2D: Unity Game Engine: Uses C#

C++ always finds its way onto best programming lists for game development. When used efficiently, the language has a super-fast running time, which is critical when it comes to gaming, also, c++ is easy to learn and use...
So, i would recommend you C++.
