What language would you advice beginners to start with?

I've heard a few say c++, I don't know how good that is for beginners

Most universities starts to teach using Python, it's quick and easy language to get the hang of, like the others said i would recommend you to do that as well, once you get the basics you can branch out to other languages like java c# or one of your choice. C++ can be a little difficult to get the hang of as a complete beginner but is no way bad it just requires a little deeper knowledge of how memory and and components of your system interacts.

If you are just interested in doing websites you can do well with just Html, CSS and PHP, alternatively JavaScript with some SQL as well.
