Which programming language is convenient to make Android or iOS apps

I believe C# can be used to make cross-platform applications. Python can also be used. Java is mainly for Android and Swift is for just iOS. I don’t know much about Ruby or c++ for apps.

And if you want develop an app using one language promming for both platform c# with xamarin is a good choice
