Is canvas better than svg?

It's like both your eyes when you want a graphic drawn in html.
Both are good still canvas is relatively better.

SVG is scalable and is consistent for all screen size. To overcome this in canvas, you have to use a little trick.

For canvas, it is easier to be controlled with JavaScript. But if you are good at svg, you can achieve the same with JavaScript.

So I think they are 50-50, just stick to one of it and keep practicing and master it.
