Because there's optimal-minimal time necessary for solving anything challenge to my mind. It will be dishonest in relation to others participants and simply boring. Challenges are still a kind of competition by the way. And you must confused and feel difficulties😉

I think it is difficult to objectively estimate complexity of particular challenge and calculate required time proportionally. What is difficult for one person may be easy for another.
