'Hello world' is there any reason behind why programming languages uses that 2 words?

As in so much else: historical reasons... someone got started with it, others copied it. The first recorded occurrence of a “hello, world” program can be found in “A TUTORIAL INTRODUCTION TO THE LANGUAGE B” written in 1972 (chapter 7)

Well "hello world" actually means that you know the basics of the programming language/script you are using to the world.

I guess for the same reasons that errors are called bugs. Someone used it once because their mechanical computer physically had a bug (dead moth) in it and it caught on so now everyone uses it.
