My idea for a project in CSP needs some guidance....

CSP = Computer Science Principles
Hey, everyone! So, I’m making my final AP project for my CSP class and I want to make an interactive educational simulation of DNA replication, but I don’t know what programming language to use. My teacher suggested Alice or tkinter for Python, but... I don’t know. I’m only familiar with Scratch, App Inventor, and the bare min. of Python... any suggestions? (I definitely understand that this project is a bit out of my league but I’m ambitious) any advice/etc is appreciated!

Why not to just start learning Alice or tkinter? Or more Python? Especially you got a more precise idea of your project, and you've also got the ambition and the obligation(I guess?), you will not only learn it easier, but it will be fun to do! Everything may seem hard at beginning, you just need to get over it and will be as easy as solving 1+1=?
