Sololearn on a laptop sucks😤

I just downloaded the Sololearn mobile app and it is really good. That makes me wonder why does sololearn put so much effort into the mobile app and leave the web platform so underdeveloped? Where is the logic? Considering most programmers use laptops and not phones to code.

It could be. Or it might not be. Maybe some features just don't work. Or they discourage webscraping more data than they'd like to give. The rationale is always unknown until made known.

To me there is a logic in developing the mobile app. "What's your reason for asking why there isn't a desktop version?" You'd tell me that programmers use PC's for coding than mobiles. Come to think of it, Sololearn is more of a learning app than an actual coding app. The playground is just to test your knowledge of what you've learnt along the way. Most Sololearn users suggest the desktop version be developed along side the mobile cuz of the coding playground. My suggestion: Just write your codes on vs code or sublime text and copy paste to the playground (if it's a long code).

Maybe it's neglect and maybe it's lack of adequate staff. We're just guessing.

🌟(Pro)metheus 🇸🇬 plain neglect. They haven't added any single feature or update for months, and they don't seem to be planning on making one.

Maybe because the app gets more traffic and demand, so there is a greater focus? Or maybe just plain neglect? Idunno

The fact that you can't challenge on the website is really annoying. I mostly use the website and it frustrates me that there is a faster way to gain XP

By the way, their website is vulnerable to XSS so I generally don't recommend using it at all. They really need to fix their web platform.
