Beginner needing feedback on coding challenge gone wrong(No Answers!!!)

Question

I’m doing the kaleidoscope challenge and can’t even get the code to take the input and print and output. This is what I have so far:

pbt = (lambda n: n*5)
if n > 1:
pbt * .1
print(pbt * .07)

So I used lambda because I was having problems defining the function but from what you see what could I do better or what tips do you have to make this better code that actually works? Do I need to define the function? Should I put any else statement down under the if? Why isn’t this working in the first place?, etc. would be some great places to start.

And yes, I am using Python

Second: of yes you need to take input using input command as:

VarA = int(input())
