STL or Data Structure?

Question

I've finished C++ basics. Now some friend of mine suggested me to learn data structure and some suggested to learn STL first. I'm a little bit confused. Which one should I try first?

I would say to start with Data Structure and Algorithms then move to the Standard Template Library and Algorithms
