So... introducing myself

Question

Don't know if it's very okay to do so but... Hi. I'm an 18 year old boy from the US and love to program. I first dabbed in Java when I used to play minecraft but... never continued. Then I tried out C++ game programming. What really got me into programming was first semester college, Computer Science! I did basic console work with C++ there and it was super fun. Now I mainly work with HTML, CSS, and jQuery. I'm hoping to get better at web development and maybe make some friends along the way. Thank you :D

Welcome! This site is mostly for beginners who have no idea what they're doing, so if you're competent then I'm sure you could make some cool code on code playground for newbies to steal (but hopefully learn from), and help answer questions on Q&A.

Of course, you can always check out the Sololearn courses, but they only cover the basics.

You can ask some advanced questions on here, but I guess sometimes they might not get answered since this Q&A is mostly for beginner questions.

@Ahri Fox I'm not very advanced. I'd say I'm just leaving the beginner phase. Either way beginners tend to be less angry if you screw something simple up so I'm fine being here haha!
