Matthias Matznick The float() method is used to return a floating point number from a number or a string. The method only accepts one parameter and that is also optional to use.

Convert to float during input solved the issue, though I don't fully understand. Converting to float while calling the elements from the list didn't work, and I can't spot the difference.
If someone can explain I'd be grateful.

Thanks for the reminder, I wasn't familiar with the rule since I found a lot of code directly written in the posts. I hope it's ok now.
