Is it compulsory to use two quotation marks in writing a text (String)..what of using one quotation mark ?

From your, if you are asking in python,
If you write text in between " " or ' ' 2quotation marks it becomes a string, otherwise not...
Ex: "this is string"
On one quotation mark invalid.
You can use either single quotation marks or double quotation marks in python..
