Responding to your question :
Yes, and no.
Yes people with C++ or Python knowledge will get hired.
But there are many many job seeker in the market. Why does a company want to hire you?
It must be because you are better than the others.
How? Not by knowing two languages each only by a little.

When you learn console-based basic programming here, you can try the new feature : Code Coach, they helps you practice basic if-else logic and input/output, and some modulus operations.
When you are at the Object-oriented programming chapter, don't be afraid, it is abstract, and not understanding at first is natural, you can practice with a Code Challenge called Complex Number Multiplication.
After finishing the course, search in Code Playground or Q&A for "programming resources", there are some links to extended learning resources.
Good luck with your learning.

You can upload your Django projects on Python Anywhere.
WhyFry has a good project to demonstrate, if he is willing to.
For other Python applications, Ashutosh Agrawal is good at coding web scraper with Python. He can share something with you, if he is willing to.
To conclude:
1. Do not worry about which programming language you should learn, instead, worry about that you don't know one programming knowledge deep enough.
2. Do not spam this Q&A. We have a helpful community here, but we only solve:
